when what has been learned
has been forgotten."

Bluefield International Boarding School offers admission from pre-K to 12 th grade. The school is approved to enroll international students from grade 4 to 8 this year by the United States Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and seeks to add a grade ever year until it reaches 12 th grade. Learning wise, it is approved by the West Virginia State Board of Education and Mercer County Board of Education.

The school has a curriculum based on the Hillsdale curriculum- a Back to Basics curriculum- developed by the Hillsdale Academy of Hillsdale College, Michigan , USA that is followed by more than two hundred illustrious schools in the United States . Apart from its hands-on approach to education, Bluefield exemplifies the enormous contribution of the Gurukula system of education in imparting the right kind of education.

As much as each student is respected for their individuality, care and attention is given to building on this aspect so that their fullest potential is realized. The Hillsdale curriculum features a traditional, well-balanced core of subjects: phonics, reading, penmanship, writing, spelling, grammar, literature, history, geography, geology, classical and modern foreign languages, mathematics, science, music, art, dance, theatre, sports, and physical education.

The student teacher ratio is a healthy 10:1.

Our faculty consists of a team of dedicated teachers who are academically brilliant, professionally competent, socially and morally committed. They are visionaries, guides, and facilitators with a global outlook who endeavor to prepare the students to face the world tomorrow with supreme self-confidence.
