The School has a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society whick seeks to recognise and encourage academic ahievement while developing the yeoman qualities of service, leadership and other characteristics relevant to citizens of a democracy.

The School, apart from academic excellence focuses on athletic and artistic development, imbibing family values, spiritual and moral growth. The students are encouraged to do everything on their own, to attempt new things, to discover new worlds, to learn from nature, to share generously and to lead a value-based life.

All students participate in some form of athletics, sport or physical activity. Students will get opportunities to participate and involve in extra-curricular activities, such as performing arts, visual arts, music and painting. The school has quality infrastructure for athletics, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, football, tennis, horse riding etc built to international standards.

The school has an excellent library with the students being encouraged to cultivate a reading habit which will stand a good stead in their moral and social development. Bluefield considers off-campus education as paramount in the total development of a student and initiates such programs, time to time, with the faculty and/or administrators chaperoning the students.
